Started in 2006, SHE Thailand is committed to helping women and children at risk in Thailand, many of whom are trapped in the commercial sex industry. SHE is dedicated to providing employment, vocational training and counseling for women who want to help themselves out of this industry.

All proceeds go directly to helping the women find employment, friendship, and above all the restoration of their own value.

Transforming Lives                                 The jewelry making program was started to help the many girls who work in the bars and clubs, giving them alternative employment and retraining. Girls such as these are trapped by poverty and have no alternative but working in the bars.

Offering a Choice                                         Many work in the bars to support their families back home, and feel like they have no choice. SHE is offering them a choice. The women are finding hope and freedom, and are being empowered to live new lives!

Mark & Sharon Biddell are the co-founders of SHE. They and their four children moved from the UK to Thailand in May of 2006. They have worked in full-time missions  for over ten years, focusing on community development projects.

Mark, Sharon & visiting teams spend  most nights building relationships with women working in the hundreds of bars in Phuket, Thailand.
